Primera is the genesis project from Andrew Mitchell and Grant Yun written completely in p5.js. Primera, capped at 400 individual pieces generated upon mint, has been a project with years in the making. It is a study and interpretation on the fundamentals of early 20th century art utilizing 21st century blockchain technology.
Primera is 100% On-Chain meaning it requires no cloud storage for the compositions to render. Should the entire world’s cloud/file systems go down, Primera will continue to show its renders. A beauty of bringing code on-chain. To read our contract: Contract on Etherscan
Lastly, Primera is also CC0 aka Creative Commons. This means we as a team have forgone all copyright restrictions of our project. Any/everyone is free to use Primera in any way they wish even if it is to make a profit. This is a project to showcase the beauty of generative code, on-chain blockchain art, and to help highlight the importance of sharing art for the sake of sharing.
